Groupe Yves Gagnon Inc. (« GAGNON ») respects the concerns of users of its web site www.gagnonlgq.com (le Site)and the services provided therein. The content of this Statement is derived in part from GAGNON's Privacy Policy, which is available for consultation on the Site. The content is also intended to complement the information provided in the Terms of Use available on the same Site.

When you browse our Site, we automatically receive the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, which allows us to obtain more details about the browser and operating system you are using.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. 

Your data is stored in Shopify's data storage system and databases, and in Shopify's general application. Your data is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall.

To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not lost, misappropriated, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed inappropriately.

The Privacy Statement applies as long as you remain within our Site. You may leave our web site by clicking on certain links on our site and, in doing so, you will no longer be governed by this Statement or any of our policies and rules. We assume no responsibility for the privacy practices of such other sites and recommend that you read their privacy policies carefully before continuing your browsing.

COOKIES

The GAGNON web site uses or may use various tracking technologies such as : :  

• Cookies - Cookies facilitate the use of our site, notably by saving your preferences. Their use is limited to our site and they do not transfer any personal information to a third party. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies, or to indicate when a cookie is being sent, if you prefer. Here is a list of some of the cookies we use: :

_session_id, a unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, referring page, etc.);

_shopify_visit, no data retained, persists for 30 minutes since last visit. Used by our website provider's internal statistics tracking system to record the number of visits;

_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires at midnight (depending on visitor location) the following day. Calculates the number of visits to a store per unique customer;

_cart, unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores wish list information for potential purchase;

_secure_session_id,unique session identifier;

_storefront_digest, unique identifier, undefined if the store has a password, it is used to know if the current visitor has access;

• Web beacons - Used to generate statistics on the use of our website;
• Statistical tools - For statistical and data compilation purposes, for example but not limited to, Google Analytics and/or Facebook Analytics.  Please note that in the latter case, your data will be denominated.
