Return and Refund Policy Gagnon La Grande quincaillerie

GAGNON La Grande Quincaillerie is committed to providing exceptional service to its customers, with simplicity and transparency.

LAWS AND REGULATIONS

GAGNON La Grande Quincaillerie complies at all times with the various laws and regulations to which it is subject in the management of its customer relations and operations.

RETURN POLICY

RETURN PERIOD

• 45 days from the date of purchase or delivery.

CONDITION OF MERCHANDISE

• The product must be in new condition and in its original packaging. The seals must be intact.

• Defects: Any defective product may be returned, exchanged, or repaired without issue within five (5) days of purchase or taking possession.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION

• The original invoice is required. Official photo identification may be requested to ensure the security of personal information that may be used or transmitted during the transaction.

REFUND METHOD

• Refunds will be issued according to the original payment method for purchases made by credit card, debit card, or charged to an account. GAGNON reserves the right to carry out the usual checks with card issuers. Gift card purchases will be refunded in the same way. Any cash refund involving a significant amount may require a delay for verification and security purposes.

PRICE APPLIED

• Returns with invoice – At the original purchase price as indicated on the invoice.

RETURN FEES

• Subject to the conditions mentioned above, GAGNON will not generally charge additional restocking fees on returned products or cancel reservations.

o However, a restocking fee may apply to a product that does not meet the eligibility criteria set out above. The percentage reduction is determined by store management based on the estimated depreciation and the costs and losses associated with the return, all in the interest of fairness to all GAGNON customers.

• Costs related to additional services such as delivery and handling services provided at the time of the initial purchase are not eligible for a refund.

• Delivered merchandise – On-site pickup fees will generally be charged in addition unless the store can accommodate the customer when a delivery round near the pickup location takes place. The customer or their representative must be present.

EXCEPTIONS

• The following products are not eligible for return or exchange, except in the case of an inherent defect in the product or as a result of an internal error.

o Special order

o Customized product

o Colored, mixed, or customized paint/stain

o Modified or cut product

o Clearance, final sale, or end-of-season product

o Product for hygiene reasons (toilet seat, gloves, etc.)

o Products containing gasoline or other volatile substances

o Any product that is not in its original packaging

o Products that have already been used, unless defective

o Opened packages of shingles

o Gift cards

o Magazines and journals

• GAGNON La Grande Quincaillerie reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange at any time.

WARRANTY

• Subject to the manufacturer's legal warranty conditions.

Notice to Quebec consumers

• Regarding the availability of replacement parts, repair services, and maintenance and repair information, please note that Gagnon – La Grande Quincaillerie does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services, or information on product maintenance and repair within the meaning of the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, as amended by Bill 29. Manufacturer warranties will continue to be honored.

 

This Policy may be amended, modified, or canceled at any time at the sole discretion of GAGNON La Grande Quincaillerie.
